Using Excel 2008 for Mac. I am trying to autofill a simple mathematical formula down the row, but it is copying the first cell instead of filling the series. When I autofill while holding control, I can see all the options, and fill series is greyed out! What the heck is going on? Is there a fix? Additional information: The exact formula I'm using is =E7/$E$3. It should autofill down as • =E7/$E$3 • =E8/$E$3 • =E9/$E$3 • =E10/$E$3. The weird thing is, when you click on the cell, it reads the correct formula, but the value displayed is the same value as original cell, as if you had copy/paste special/values! When you double click on one of the autofilled cells to edit the formula, then hit enter, it finally returns the correct result. It's like the information is hiding there, but you would have to double click each autofilled cell to get it to display the correct result instead of a copy of the first cell. Any ideas, or is something totally screwed up?
